If your eyes are open wide
To the mysteries inside
Deep connections joining you to me and all you see
That compulsion to compete
With the people that you meet
Fails to notice they're a part of you and me, that's key
Looking deep into their eyes
You may see to your surprise that, just like you, they
Have beauty deep inside, they hide
They belong in the Kingdom
So look deep in your soul
Open up to the Kingdom
Aim to console
Not to control
Through that beauty in our souls
Maybe God can make us whole
Through the grace of those connections you now see, can be
Hold them up to Him in prayer
Be His hands because you're there
And together we'll begin to find the Kingdom has come
Deep in everybody's eyes
