It seems sometimes that life can be a dull and grey affair
You do the same thing day by day not getting anywhere
At other times it seems that life is dark or even black
You see no colour anywhere, your life is way off track
But deep inside
Within your heart you know
There's one place you can go
Wash yourself in His Love
and your life will be filled with the Colour of Jesus
At times the stain of jealousy can colour your life green
Compare yourself with others and you'll soon see what I mean
Then anger wells within your heart: your life is flaming red
Your boiling blood builds pressure and your peace of mind has fled
But deep inside
Within your heart you know
There's one place you can go
Wash yourself in His Love
and your life will be filled with the Colour of Jesus
Submerge yourself in His Love
And dye your wool in His Dye
Glowing true in the Colour you are
The colour of God Most High
When colour flows into your life the world is something new
With love flowing abundantly through everything you do
The brilliance of a sunset or the chirping of a bird
Can fill your heart with wonder and you know it's not absurd
'Cause deep inside
Within your heart you know
