We come to you in the brokenness and messiness of our daily lives
We give you our hearts for what they are, full of mixed emotions and confused by conflicting drives
Take our lives and give them inspiration fill our hearts and transform our minds
Out of confusion bring peace, calm and trusting acceptance of the path as each turn unwinds
You gave us our lives, help us live them in You
We offer them to You, trusting that you will imbue them
with grace, love and compassion
And that you will fashion them
according to your plan,

We come here today, wanting nothing more than deepening of the faith we bring
We want to do good, although we don't seem to know quite how to, we get sidetracked by everything
Take our hearts and mold them in Your image, help us let go of selfish ways
